Combination Puzzle Rubik's Cube - Game of the 80s

Combination Puzzle Rubik's Cube - Game of the 80s
The 3-D combination puzzle Rubik's Cube was invented by an Architectural Professor from Hungry in the 70s but only became a hit almost a decade later after winning the German Game of the Year.

Soon it was to take America and the rest of the world by storm. You would see people from all ages engrossed in this puzzle cube, be it at home, schools and at cafes.

I suppose these days the smartphone has replaced it ):

If you are looking to pick up something for someone who loves toys and gadgets from the past, than this could be it.

Although the Rubik's Cube was more of a guy's thing, there were lots of gals who couldn't resist toying with it.

One of the drawbacks of the earlier models was that they were a little stiff. Nowadays with the latest technology, the new Rubik's Cube turns a lot quicker and is more durable. The game yet remains the same though. Click on image above for more details.

Don't tell anyone, but I could never figure out this puzzle (:
